Maya is a 20 years old blind girl coming from Kaaneshwor VDC of Sindhuli district. She was born blind by birth. Her father left the house seven years ago and her mother died five years ago by illness. Since then, she was staying with her grandfather in Shoyambhu, Kathmandu. Her grandfather let her begging in the street. The chairperson of Tri-Netra Foundation Mr. Kanchha Gurung saw her and decided to take her in the Centre. She has passed in grade 8 and now she is studying in grade 9 at Laboratory Higher Secondary School, Kirtipur.
