    Himal Bishokarma

    Himal is a partially blind boy coming from Khandachakra Rural Municipality of ward # 3 of Kalikot district of Karnali Province.  He is partially blind by birth.

    He is coming from Mid-western district of Nepal. His mother dead when he was Three years old. Later, his father re-married. Now, he was taken care by his grand-parents. The occupation of Bishwokarma family is farming. The income from agriculture could not feed the family for whole year. So, his father goes for labor work to earn money to feed the family.

    Therefore, his father brought him to Tri-Netra Foundation for education, food and resident support. He is studying in grade two at Belmont International School, Samakhushi Town Planning, Kathmandu. (DOB: 2070-08-12)

    Sushant Bishwokarma

    Sushant is a  orphan boy,born in 2011 A.D coming from Ramechhap district. His father was died when he was 1 year old and his mother eloped with other guy. Therefore, Bright Star Society brought him to Tri-Netra Foundation for education support. He has passed grade 6 and now he is studying in class 7  in Belmont International School, Samakhusi Town Planning, Kathmandu.

    Phurba Thupten Sherpa

    Phurba is a blind boy,born in 2013 A.D coming from Phal Tingyu, Ward # 6 of Dolpa district. He became blind when he was 2 years old by falling on fire. His father is a farmer and mother is a house wife. The income is hardly covering for the meal for the family members. Therefore, his parents have sent him to Tri-netra Foundation for education support. He has passed grade 4 and now he is studying in grade 8 at Laboratory Higher Secondary School, Kirtipur and staying at Tri Netra Foundation where he gets meal, shelter and medical facilities with other blind children

  • Aman Tharu

    Aman Tharu

    Aman is a blind boy ,born in 2011, from Madhuwan Municipality ward number 2, of suryapatuwa of Saptari District. He was blind by birth and living with his father, mother, elder sister and younger brother. His parents are working as labor in brick factory in Bhaktapur. He had basic education at Mangal Prasad Secondary School, Nepalgunj. His parents could not continue his education due to financial problem of taking him at the time of long vacation on holidays. So, his parents requested Tri Netra Foundation for his full support. Now he has passed grade 9 and he is studying in grade 6 at Laboratory Higher Secondary School, Kirtipur

    Om Prakash is old blind boy, born in 2013 A.D coming from Phalatepur VDC, Ward # 1 of Banke district. He was born blind by birth. His father is a farmer and mother is a house wife. There are three blind children in his family. His elder brother, elder sister and himself. There are five members in his family and they are: father, mother, elder sister, elder brother and himself. The Dube family has small area of land in Banke which they had also lost in the flood. So, his parent goes for the labor work to earn money for the family. The income is hardly covering for the meal of three family members. Therefore, his parents have sent him to Tri-netra Foundation for education support. He has passed grade 2 and now he is studying in grade 6 at Laboratory Higher Secondary School, Kirtipur and staying at Tri Netra Foundation where he gets meal, shelter and medical facilities with other blind children.

    Bindu is old physically disabled girl,born in 2008 A.D,coming from Budhakot VDC, Ward # 5, Achham district of Seti Zone. She was born disabled by birth. There are seven members in her family they are father, mother, two brothers, two sisters and herself. The Kunwar family has small area of land in Achham and the income from their land is not enough for whole year. So, her father goes for labor work for income for the family. Since, her parents are poor and cannot afford the education cost of Bindu. Therefore, her parents brought her to Tri Netra Foundation for shelter and Schooling. She has passed in the final examination of grade 6 and now she is studying in grade 10 at Belmont International School, Samakhusi Town Planning, Kathmandu.

    Ayush is a blind boy, born in 2012, from Sorhahawa VDC, Ward No. 1, Phulwari, Bardiya District.. He was born blind by birth. There are five members in his family they are grandmother, father, mother, younger sister and himself. The Kaphle family has small area of land in Bardiya and the income from their land is not enough for whole year. So, his parents go for labor work for income for the family. Since, her parents are poor and cannot afford the education cost of Rajan. Therefore, his parents brought him to Tri-netra Foundation for meal, shelter and schooling. He has passed in the final examination of grade 7 and now he is studying in grade 4 at Laboratory Higher Secondary
    School, Kirtipur.

    Rajan is a old blind boy,born in 2010 A.D coming from Dipalgau, ward no. 7 of Jumla District of Karnali Zone. He was born blind by birth. His father is also physically disabled and his younger brother is also blind. His mother is house wife. The Dhital family is very poor and has only small area of land in the remote village of Jumla of Karnali Zone. The income from agriculture is not enough for whole year. So, his father goes for labor work in order to earn money for the family. He never had gone to the school before. So, his father contacted to Tri-netra Foundation for Rajan’s education support. Now, he has passed grade 4 and now he is studying in grade 8 at Laboratory Higher Secondary School, Kirtipur.

  • Maya Bomjon

    Maya Bomjon

    Maya is a  blind girl, born in 2002 A.D. coming from Kaaneshwor VDC of Sindhuli district. She was born blind by birth. Her father left the house seven years ago and her mother died five years ago by illness. Since then, she was staying with her grandfather in Shoyambhu, Kathmandu. Her grandfather let her begging in the street. The chairperson of Tri-Netra Foundation Mr. Kanchha Gurung saw her and decided to take her in the Centre. She has passed in grade 8 and now she is studying in grade 9 at Laboratory Higher Secondary School, Kirtipur.
