Netra is a 13 years old partially blind boy coming from Fukot VDC, Ward # 5, Kalikot District of Karnali Zone. He was born low vision by birth. There are four members in his family. His father died when Netra was four years old. Since then his mother has been taking care of him. There are three blind children in his family. They are; elder brother, younger sister and himself. They have small area of land in the hilly area in Fukot VDC of Kalikot district and the income is not enough for the family so, his mother smashes stones, and sells to the customer and earns money for the family in Kalikot.
He has joined at Belmont International School, Kathmandu in grade Three and staying at Tri-Netra Foundation where he gets meal, shelter & medical facilities in homely environment with other blind children.

Bijay is a 12 years old boy of disablers’ child coming from Syadha VDC, Ward # 1, Humla District of Karnali Zone. There are seven members in his family. His father is a deaf and his mother is mentally retarded and one of his elder sisters is also deaf. His other one elder sister and one younger brother are studying in government school in Humla. One of his elder sisters is studying in Bachelor level at Sanothimi Multiple College with a support from Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN). His father is a farmer. The income from agriculture is not enough for whole year. Since, both of his parents are disabled, the family are in critical situation, so, his parents sent him to the Tri-Netra Foundation for education support.

He has joined at Belmont International School, Gongabu, Kathmandu in grade four and staying at Tri Netra Foundation where he gets meal, shelter & medical facilities in homely environment with other blind children.

Aman is a 9 years old blind boy coming from Madhuwan Municipality ward number 2, of suryapatuwa of Saptari District. He was blind by birth and living with his father, mother, elder sister and younger brother. His parents are working as labor in brick factory in Bhaktapur. He had basic education at Magal Prasad Secondary School, Nepalgunj. His parents could not continue due to financial problem of taking him at the time of long vacation on holidays. So, his parents requested Tri Netra Foundation for his full support. Now he is studying in grade three at Laboratory Higher Secondary School, Kirtipur

Ramesh is a 10 year’s old physically disabled boy coming from Chhibra VDC, Ward # 3 of Humla district of Karnali Zone. He had become disabled at the age of 2 by burn of his right palm. He was living with his father, mother, elder sister, younger brother. The Pariyar family has small area of land in hilly area of Humla District and the income from the land is not enough for whole year. So, his father runs a small tailor shop in the village and his mother goes for labor work for income for the family. Since, his parents are poor and cannot afford the education cost of Ramesh. Therefore, his parents brought him to Tri-netra Foundation for shelter and schooling. He is now studying in grade three at Belmont International School, Kathmandu.

Charli is a 21 year’s old physically disabled girl coming from Rubi Valley, Ward # 5 of Dhading district of Bagmati Zone. She was disabled by birth. Her both legs were curled and could not walk and crawling for movement. At the age of 12, she had her both leg’s operation at HRDC Hospital Banepa.
Her father was died 14 years ago in Malaysia while he was working in Malaysia. Her mother, elder sister and younger brothers are working as labor in the village in order to earn money for the family. Since, her parents are poor and could not afford the education cost of Charli. Therefore, her mother brought her to Tri-Netra Foundation where she gets shelter and education support. She is now studying in grade twelve at NIST College, Lainchaur, Kathmandu.
